    Objective

Sharpen change-of-direction so you can cut, accelerate, and re-set without losing balance.

    Setup

8-10 cones in a chosen pattern (zigzag, T, box).

    Instructions
    1. Set up cones in various patterns: zigzag, T-drill, box drill
    2. Sprint forward, backpedal, shuffle sideways through the cones
    3. Keep your center of gravity low for quick changes
    4. For advanced: dribble a ball through the course
    5. Time yourself and compete against your best
    What good looks like
    • Low hips into every cut — knees bent, weight on balls of feet
    • Sharp deceleration, plant, and explosive push-off
    • Arms drive direction changes
    • Same time on every rep across the circuit
    Common mistakes
    • Standing tall on the cuts — slow and unstable
    • Crossing feet on lateral movement
    • Slowing well before each cone
    • No arm action
    Equipment
    8-10 cones
    Optional: ball for advanced version
