    Objective

    Distribute the ball accurately to a teammate at 20-40 yards with an overarm throw.

    Setup

    Gloves, ball, target cones at 20, 30, and 40 yards.

    Instructions
    1. Hold ball with your dominant hand behind/under the ball
    2. Non-throwing arm points toward target for balance
    3. Step forward with opposite foot as you throw
    4. Release over the shoulder (not side-arm)
    5. Follow through toward target with throwing arm
    6. Practice hitting targets at various distances
    What good looks like
    • Step forward with the opposite foot at release
    • Throwing arm comes over the top, not side-arm
    • Ball travels flat and straight to the target
    • Eyes track to the target through release
