    Objective

    Recover from the first save fast enough to make a second save on the rebound.

    Setup

    Goal, gloves, 2 partners, 5-10 balls.

    Instructions
    1. Make an initial save from first shooter
    2. Immediately recover to set position
    3. Second shooter fires within 2-3 seconds
    4. Focus on explosive recovery using legs, not arms
    5. Keep eyes on the ball during recovery
    6. Practice getting set even when on the ground
    What good looks like
    • Push up off the bottom arm and a knee, then feet
    • Eyes locked on the ball throughout
    • Reset to set position even from the ground
    • React explosively to the second shot
    Common mistakes
    • Watching the first save instead of recovering
    • Pushing up off the wrong arm — slow to feet
    • No eyes on the ball during recovery
    • Set position lost during the recovery
