    How to record this drill

Record 5+ reps in a row. 1 rep demonstrates the move — 5+ proves you own it and unlocks an uncapped score.

    Objective

Spin completely past a defender while shielding the ball — the two sole rolls generate the full 360° rotation. Confidence is required; hesitation collapses the move.

    Setup

One cone as defender or a passive partner applying light pressure. Space to spin in.

    Instructions
    1. Approaching the cone, place the sole of your right foot on the ball and roll it forward-right
    2. Immediately plant your right foot and spin 180° counterclockwise
    3. Your left foot takes over — sole on the ball, continuing the rotation
    4. Complete the full 360° — your back briefly faces the direction you came from
    5. Shield the ball throughout — back stays between cone and ball at all times
    6. Exit with the ball under control, accelerating in the original direction
    7. Start slow — the two sole rolls with a full spin takes repetition
    What good looks like
    • First sole roll: right foot rolls ball forward-right, plants firmly
    • Second sole roll: left foot catches ball mid-rotation and completes the 360°
    • Back faces the defender throughout — ball shielded at all times
    • Exit compact — ball emerges from the spin within 1 yard
    Common mistakes
    • First sole roll too fast — loses control and the spin collapses
    • Back fails to stay between the ball and defender during the spin
    • The two sole rolls are inconsistent — one drags, one pushes — ball escapes
    • Spin too wide — a tight spin is faster and harder to intercept

How the AI scores this drill
Primary metric: Move Execution And Exit Quality

    Technique

    30%

The move is executed with the correct mechanics for this specific drill (foot path, contact point, timing). See per-move AI instructions for exactly what to look for.

    Deception

    20%

Shoulder/body fake sells the move — an imagined defender would realistically commit. Weight transfer is visible and deliberate. The fake precedes the exit.

    Ball Control

    20%

Ball stays within playing distance (1–2 yards max) throughout the move. Exit touch is controlled. No heavy touch that gives possession away.

    Explosive Exit

    20%

Acceleration in the first 3 steps after the move. Ball pushed into open space (not dead underfoot). Player body leans forward into the burst.

    Balance & Control

    10%

Low centre of gravity during the move. Stable body position — no stumble or lurch. Player is under control at the point of exit.
