    How to record this drill

Record 5+ reps in a row. 1 rep demonstrates the move — 5+ proves you own it and unlocks an uncapped score.

    Objective

Inside fake first, outside snap — the opposite of the Elastico. Surprises defenders who have learned to read the standard version.

    Setup

One cone or passive partner. Ball set up inside your dominant foot.

    Instructions
    1. Set up with the ball inside your right foot
    2. Push the ball INSIDE (left) with the inside of your right foot — the fake
    3. Snap the ball OUTSIDE (right) with the outside of the SAME right foot immediately
    4. Both touches with the same foot — the reversal is what makes it unreadable
    5. Inside push is tight — less than 1 foot of ball movement
    6. Exit right immediately after the outside snap
    7. Mirror: inside push, snap back outward with left foot
    What good looks like
    • Inside push is tight — less than 1 foot of ball movement
    • Outside snap immediate and firm — reversal feels elastic
    • Same foot for both touches — seamless inside-to-outside transition
    • Exit acceleration immediately to the outside
    Common mistakes
    • Inside push too large — ball escapes and the timing is gone
    • Different foot for the snap — must be the same foot for both touches
    • Snap direction wrong — inside fake exits OUTSIDE
    • No clear exit target decided before the move

How the AI scores this drill
Primary metric: Move Execution And Exit Quality

    Technique

    30%

The move is executed with the correct mechanics for this specific drill (foot path, contact point, timing). See per-move AI instructions for exactly what to look for.

    Deception

    20%

Shoulder/body fake sells the move — an imagined defender would realistically commit. Weight transfer is visible and deliberate. The fake precedes the exit.

    Ball Control

    20%

Ball stays within playing distance (1–2 yards max) throughout the move. Exit touch is controlled. No heavy touch that gives possession away.

    Explosive Exit

    20%

Acceleration in the first 3 steps after the move. Ball pushed into open space (not dead underfoot). Player body leans forward into the burst.

    Balance & Control

    10%

Low centre of gravity during the move. Stable body position — no stumble or lurch. Player is under control at the point of exit.
